The Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office seeks to protect the rights and well-being of the citizens of Mahoning County, Ohio through the effective prosecution of criminal offenders and by providing proficient legal representation to county and township officials. The Criminal Division prosecutes over 8,000 felony and misdemeanor cases each year from state, local and other law enforcement agencies. The Civil Division provides legal counsel in over 4,000 matters annually in the areas of contracts, litigation, civil rights, property, zoning, public records, open meetings, employment and labor.
The goal of the Special Needs Registry is to ensure all Mahoning County residents who may be in need of special assistance are able to get help and support they need in time of emergency or during interaction with Law Enforcements, Fire or EMS personnel.
