Man enters Guilty plea; sentenced for double homicide on Youngstown’s West Side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (Friday, April 12th, 2024) – 24-year-old Mikese Stevens pleads guilty to a 2022 double homicide on Youngstown’s West Side. Stevens plead guilty to 2 counts of Murder.

In December of 2022, Stevens shot and killed Joseph Sanders and Kimberly Kalasky. The two were found shot to death inside of a home on Cherry Hill Drive. Police questioned Stevens after the two were found dead. A few days following Stevens’ statement to police, he was arrested and charged for the double homicide. Stevens agreed to a guilty plea and was soon sentenced. Stevens was sentenced to life in prison with the chance of parole after 15 years served.
