Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro was the keynote speaker at today’s Pinwheels for Prevention event, hosted by Mahoning County Children Services. This annual event raises awareness of child abuse prevention efforts in Mahoning County and Ohio.
Prosecutor Maro spoke on the importance of action vs. inaction, reminding attendees that every step, no matter how small, is a step toward prevention. She encouraged all to continue their vital work and always choose to act in the best interest of our children.

Each year, MCCS plants pinwheels at Boardman Park; each one representing someone who spoke up for a child. The display will remain up through the end of the month.
