Youngstown Teen Sentenced for Attempted Murder

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Nabil Allan, 18, was sentenced to six to seven and a half years in prison for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Robbery. Allan was originally charged as a juvenile, but the case was bound over to Mahoning County Common Pleas Court, where a Grand Jury returned an Indictment against him. Allan plead guilty as charged to the indictment, which included one count of Aggravated Robbery with a Firearm Specification and two counts of Attempted Murder with a Firearm Specification. Mahoning County Common Pleas Judge Maureen Sweeney sentenced Allan.


Allan’s charges stem from a carjacking on Broadway Ave on February 15, 2024, and a shooting on Robinwood Place on August 11, 2024. Assistant Prosecutor Patrick Fening successfully prosecuted the case.
