YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Adrianne Hudson was sentenced to six to nine years following a guilty plea to Involuntary Manslaughter, a first-degree felony, and Endangering Children, a third-degree felony. Hudson pleaded as charged; neither charge was reduced in exchange for the plea. Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge Maureen A. Sweeney sentenced Hudson.
The Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office recommended a sentence of eight to twelve years in prison.
Hudson was indicted on both charges following the death of a two-year-old child in her care. The child drowned after falling into a pool on Ridgelawn Avenue.
Prosecutor Lynn Maro commends the Youngstown Police Department and Assistant Prosecutor Daniel Yozwiak for their diligent work throughout the investigation.
