YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mickele Jamar Glenn, 36, was sentenced to 29 – 34.5 years to life in prison for Murder and Aggravated Burglary. Judge Anthony D’Apolito sentenced Glenn. Assistant Prosecutors Katherine Jones and Melissa Dinsio led the successful prosecution. Glenn was found guilty following a three-day jury trial in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas, presided over by Judge Anthony D’Apolito.
In 2023, officers with the Youngstown Police Department responded to a residence on Oneta Avenue for a reported homicide. During the investigation, detectives learned that the victim had connections with Glenn’s girlfriend.
On October 31, 2023, Glenn traveled to the victim’s residence on Oneta Avenue, where he fatally shot the victim. Following a two-year investigation, a Mahoning County Grand Jury indicted Glenn on charges of Murder and Aggravated Burglary. Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro thanks the Youngstown Police Department and Assistant Prosecutors Jones and Dinsio for their dedicated work throughout the investigation and trial.
